Terms of Service
These are the terms between Guuds and the merchants who run their stores on it. They are not the terms of any shop built with Guuds — each store publishes its own.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you, the person or business that creates a Guuds account and runs a store on it, and Guuds, the operator of guuds.guud.ai. By creating an account or using the platform you accept them. If you are acting for a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.
Guuds is a commerce platform for merchants. Your shoppers are your customers, not ours: the contract for every sale on your storefront is between you and the buyer, under the terms you publish on your shop.
2. Your account and your store
You are responsible for what happens under your login, for keeping your password private, and for everyone you invite to your workspace. Tell us at once if you think an account has been used without permission.
You own the content you put on your store — products, images, copy, customer records — and you grant Guuds only the licence it needs to host, display, back up and deliver that content so the store works. We do not sell your catalogue or your customer list.
You must have the right to sell what you list, describe it truthfully, honour the orders you accept, and follow the consumer, tax and data-protection law that applies where you and your shoppers are.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use Guuds to sell anything illegal where you or the buyer are, to infringe someone else’s rights, to send unsolicited messages, to collect data you have no basis to collect, or to interfere with the platform or other merchants’ stores. Guuds may suspend or remove a store that breaks this section, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
4. Plans, billing and cancellation
Guuds is sold as a monthly subscription at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. Subscriptions are billed through PayPal at the start of each period and renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge; the store stays live until the paid period ends. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires.
We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email to the address on your account. Payment processing for your own sales is provided by Stripe under Stripe’s terms, and Stripe’s fees are separate from your Guuds plan.
5. Guuds Tools and generated work
Guuds builds features, pages and copy on request. What it produces for your store is yours to use as part of that store. Generated work is a starting point: you are responsible for checking it before you publish it, particularly prices, legal text and claims about your products.
6. Availability and support
We work to keep the platform available at all times but do not promise uninterrupted service; maintenance, upstream outages and the occasional fault happen. We keep daily backups of store data. Support is by email at the address below and through the help panel in your admin.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Guuds is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the platform, and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time from your profile. We can end it with 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you materially breach these terms. After closure we keep your data for 30 days so you can export it, then delete it, except where we must keep records for tax or legal reasons.
9. Changes to these terms
We will post any change here with a new effective date and email account holders at least 14 days before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Guuds after that date means you accept the new terms.
