Getting started

Your dashboard

The dashboard is where Guuds tells you what is worth knowing today: sales, orders and visitors with the evidence behind each number, attention items that need a decision, and suggested actions you can take in one click. Until the store is published it doubles as the ready-to-launch checklist. Ask Guuds (the button at the foot of the sidebar, or Cmd/Ctrl+K) answers questions about your store and proposes changes, which apply only when you approve them.

Start with your products →

Analytics

Analytics is your store's traffic and conversion insights: visitors, sessions and pageviews on your storefront over the last 7, 30 or 90 days. The numbers come from Guuds' own visitor beacon on your storefront pages, so no third-party analytics tag is involved and only your store's visits are counted. A new store shows nothing until visitors start browsing it, rather than a chart of zeros. Hover the chart for a day's figures, or open it as a table.

Catalogue

Products

Everything you sell lives here: each product has a description, media, options such as size or colour, and a variant for every combination with its own price, SKU and stock. Inventory is tracked per variant, so a checkout can never oversell a size you do not have. Search, filter and paginate to find one product among thousands, and open it to edit. Collections group products for the storefront and are managed separately.

Group them into collections →

Collections

A collection is a shelf on your storefront: a manual list of products you pick, or an automatic one that fills itself from rules such as tag, vendor or price. Automatic collections stay current as products change, so new arrivals or sale items never need re-filing. Each collection has its own storefront page and can be placed in your navigation. Sorting and the cover image are set per collection.

Selling

Orders

Every order a shopper completes lands here with its payment, shipping and customer details. Open an order to fulfil it (which sends the shipping confirmation), refund all or part of it, or cancel it, and each action is recorded on the order's timeline. Filter by status or search by number, name or email to find the one you need. Paid orders also feed the dashboard's sales figures and your customers' lifetime value.

See who is buying →

Customers

A customer record is created for every shopper who orders or signs up, with their orders, lifetime value and average order value. Tags and segments let you group customers for campaigns and flows. Search finds a customer by name or email; open one to see their full history. Customer data is yours and is never shared with other stores.

Point of sale

The Guuds register app turns a phone into a till for selling in person, from the same products, stock and customers as your online store. Staff sign in to it with their own Guuds email and password, so there is no separate PIN or device code to hand out. Owners, managers and cashiers may use the register; invite staff and set their role under Team in Settings. Every register sale is an order like any other, marked POS in Orders so you can tell it from a web sale. A tablet facing the customer can be paired as a customer display with a 6-digit code from the register, and its look is set under Point of sale → Customer display.

See register sales →

Customer display

The customer display is a tablet facing the shopper at the counter that mirrors one register. To pair it, tap Pair a display in the register app's More tab, then on the tablet open Guuds POS, tap Use as customer display and type in the 6-digit code within 10 minutes. This page sets its look: the welcome screen between sales, the buttons it offers and the thank-you after payment, saved when you press Save. Paired displays pick up a saved change on their own with no re-pairing, and only owners and managers can change it.

Rewards & points

Rewards are your Loyalty points add-on, run as one program online and in store: the same points are earned and spent at checkout and at the register. Points follow the customer's phone number, so a register sale or an online guest checkout with that number credits the same customer, and the Members list shows every balance with a by-hand Adjust. The rewards menu is the products you give away for points: set each one's cost, switch it off or reorder it, and claiming one gives a single-use code that makes one unit free at the register, on the display or online. Turn rewards on or off here; off keeps every balance and setting. The rates here are the same settings the Add-ons page shows, and only owners and managers can change them.

Support inbox

Conversations from the storefront support bot arrive here, and the badge on the sidebar counts the ones that still need a human. The bot answers routine questions from your store's own products, policies and pages; when it cannot, it marks the conversation needs-human and it waits for you. Reply from the conversation and the shopper is emailed. Closing a conversation clears it from the count.

Improve the answers with better pages →

Subscriptions

When a product is sold on a recurring plan, each shopper's subscription is listed here with its next charge date and status. Failed renewals go through dunning automatically, retrying the card and emailing the shopper before the subscription is paused. You can pause, resume or cancel a subscription on the shopper's behalf. Search and filter by status to find the ones that need attention.

Add a plan to a product →

Discounts

Discounts are codes or automatic rules that reduce a cart at checkout: a percentage or fixed amount off, free shipping, or buy-X-get-Y, optionally limited to certain products, collections, customers, dates or a number of uses. Automatic discounts apply without a code; code discounts are entered by the shopper. Every use is recorded against the order. Combine limits control which discounts stack.

Send a code in a campaign →

Reviews

Reviews shoppers leave on your products are moderated here before they show on the storefront: approve, reply or hide each one. Review requests can be sent automatically after an order is fulfilled through a flow. You can import existing reviews as a CSV from another platform so a new store does not start from zero. Ratings appear on product pages and in search results once approved.

Generate from a brief

Describe the store you want in a few sentences and Guuds drafts it for you: the theme, home page sections, sample copy and an FAQ, ready to edit rather than started from blank. Nothing is published until you say so. You can run it again with a different brief; each run is kept as a theme draft in the library. It is the fastest way from a signup to a storefront worth showing someone.

See your theme drafts →

Theme

The theme is your storefront's look: preset, colours, fonts, header and footer, and the sections on each page. Changes are previewed live and only reach shoppers when you publish. Custom CSS and HTML blocks are available for the details a preset does not cover and are sanitised before they render. Ask Guuds can redesign the theme from a description and park the result as a draft for you to compare.

Browse presets and drafts →

Theme library

The library holds every preset Guuds ships and every draft you or Ask Guuds have produced. Preview a theme against your real catalogue before you switch, and switching keeps your content because sections carry over. Older drafts stay here so a change is always reversible. The theme currently live is marked so you can tell it apart at a glance.

Back to the live theme →

Pages

Pages are the storefront's standing content: about, shipping and returns, size guides, or anything else with a URL of its own. Each page is built from sections, is previewed before it is published, and can be placed in your navigation. The support bot reads these pages when it answers shoppers, so a clear returns page reduces support conversations. Legal pages such as terms and privacy are pages too.

Link a page from the navigation →

Experiments

An experiment shows two versions of a page or section to different shoppers and measures which one converts better. Start one from a page you are editing, choose what to vary, and let it run until the result is significant. Ending an experiment promotes the winner for everyone. Running experiments and their results are listed here.

Pick a page to test →

Navigation

Navigation is the set of menus your storefront shows: the main header menu, the footer, and any others your theme uses. Each menu is a list of links to collections, products, pages or outside URLs, with nesting for dropdowns. Reorder by dragging and the storefront updates when you save. A mega menu add-on is available for larger catalogues.

Add collections to link to →

Files

Files is the store's media library: product images, page images, downloads and anything uploaded to the storefront, served from Guuds' storage. Upload here to reuse a file across products and pages, or find where an existing one is used. Uploads are checked by content, not just file name. Deleting a file removes it everywhere it appears.

Add-ons

Available add-ons

Guuds has no app store: every add-on here was built by Guuds for all stores and installs in one click with no third-party account. Each one explains what it changes on the storefront or in the admin and what it costs, if anything. Install it from here and configure it under Installed. If what you need is not in the list, post it on the Ideas board and Guuds may build it.

Ask Guuds to build one →

New add-ons

The add-ons Guuds released in the last 7 days, newest first. Each one wears a NEW tag on its card for its first week, here and under Available, then leaves this tab and stays under Available. Install from here exactly as you would from Available.

See every add-on →

Installed add-ons

The add-ons this store has switched on, each with its settings. Disable keeps the settings so you can switch it back on later; Uninstall removes it and its settings. An add-on that needs attention, such as a missing credential, says so here. Storefront add-ons take effect on the next page load; admin add-ons appear in the sidebar where they belong.

Find more add-ons →

Ideas board

The Ideas board is the shared demand queue across every Guuds store: ask for something you need and upvote what others have asked for. Guuds builds from this list, and when an idea ships it appears under Available and you are told. Being specific about the problem, not just the feature, gets ideas built sooner. Your own ideas are marked so you can follow their progress.

Marketing

Capture forms

Capture forms collect email and SMS subscribers on the storefront: a pop-up, a bar, an inline block or a gate, each with its own incentive and timing. Subscribers land in your customers with consent recorded, ready for campaigns and flows. Test different offers with an experiment. Frequency rules stop a shopper seeing the same form twice in a visit.

Email your subscribers →

Ads

Make a short video ad from a product: pick it, say what the ad should do, choose 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds, and Guuds renders it from that product's own photos, description, price and your brand colours. Every store gets 60 seconds of video a day; the allowance resets at midnight UTC and does not roll over, so the length buttons that no longer fit today are disabled with the reason. Rendering happens in the background and each ad appears here when it is ready, with a download for any ad platform. Send it straight to ads.guud.ai and you pay only when it converts.

Connect an ad platform →

Segments

A segment is a saved audience: customers who match rules such as spent more than, ordered in the last, tagged with, or subscribed to. Segments update themselves as customers change, and campaigns and flows target them by name. Preview a segment's size before you send. Combine rules with and/or to be as precise as you need.

Send to a segment →

Campaigns

A campaign is a one-off email or SMS to a segment: write it, preview it, send a test to yourself, then send or schedule it. Delivery, opens, clicks and orders attributed to the campaign are reported on the campaign after it goes out. Sends count against your plan's monthly allowance. For messages that should go automatically after an event, use a flow instead.

Automate it with a flow →

Flows

A flow sends messages automatically when something happens: a welcome series on signup, an abandoned checkout reminder, a review request after fulfilment, a back-in-stock alert. Each flow is a trigger, optional conditions and a sequence of steps with waits between them. Switch a flow on and it runs for every matching event from then on. Reports show each step's sends and results.

Send a one-off instead →

Funnels

A funnel shows where shoppers drop out between landing, viewing a product, adding to cart, starting checkout and paying, so you can see which step to fix first. Define a funnel from those steps and Guuds computes it from the storefront's own visitor events. Compare periods to see whether a change helped. No third-party analytics tag is involved.

Test a fix with an experiment →

QR codes

QR codes point printed material at your storefront: a product, a collection, a page or a discount, each with its own code so scans are counted separately. Download a code as an image for packaging, signage or receipts. Scans appear in the store's visitor analytics with the code's name. Retire a code and its link stops working.

Pair a code with a discount →

Configuration

Settings

Settings holds what the store is: name and domain, currency and taxes, shipping zones and rates, payment providers, checkout options, and the notification emails shoppers receive. The Team section invites staff to this store with their own sign-in. Most settings take effect immediately; payment and domain changes tell you what to check. Your own plan and billing are on My profile, not here.

Your plan and billing →

Notifications

The emails and texts your store sends its customers: order confirmation, shipping update, abandoned checkout, back in stock, failed subscription payment and support replies. Each message is listed once per channel, email and SMS, with its subject and whether it is switched on. A message you have not edited uses the Guuds default; SMS copies stay off until you save one.

Back to store settings →

Sent messages

Every email and text your store has sent its customers, newest first: what kind of message it was, the channel, who it went to, where the provider says it got to, and the error when one failed. Status is what the provider has confirmed, so queued means accepted but not yet delivered. Page through older messages with Previous and Next. What each message says is set under Notifications.

Edit the messages →

Translations

Your product and collection titles and descriptions beside their translation for each language your markets sell in. Pick a language and whether to look at products or collections; each row shows the original next to the translation and whether that translation is a draft or published. Only published translations show on the storefront, and anything without one shows the original text. The languages listed are the ones your markets use.

Set up markets →

Ad platforms

The first option is Guud Ads on ads.guud.ai — Guuds' own ad marketplace, where your video ads and products run in publishers' slots and you pay nothing until one converts; it needs no ID and no token, so one step connects it and the card says plainly where that hand-off has got to. Below it, connect Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest or Snapchat and Guuds installs the pixel on your storefront and sends the matching server-side events (view, add to cart, purchase) so your ads report conversions accurately even when the browser blocks the pixel. Each of those platforms needs its ID and, for server events, an access token, and a test event confirms the connection. Disconnecting removes both the pixel and the server events.

Migrate

Import

Move a store to Guuds from a Shopify CSV export or straight from its live URL. Guuds reads products, variants, images, collections and customers, shows you what it found, and commits only when you confirm — nothing is written to your store during the review. Re-import to pick up changes; existing items are matched, not duplicated. Reviews from other platforms have their own CSV import under Reviews.

Your account

My profile

My profile is about you rather than any one store: the stores you own or are staff on and the switch between them, your name, email and password, and your Guuds plan with its payments and receipts. Choose or change a plan here; a merchant on Basic sees what Pro adds. Store settings are on each store's Settings page, not here.

Questions merchants ask

Is Guuds an AI site builder?

No. Guuds is a complete commerce platform: products, inventory, checkout, orders, customers, subscriptions, reviews and marketing. The AI is how you operate it, not a substitute for it.

Can I bring my existing store?

Yes, and it is the fastest way in. Give Guuds your store and it imports products, collections, customers, orders, reviews, pages, images and branding, rebuilds it, and proposes improvements.

How do payments work?

Stripe from day one: cards, express payment methods, saved payment details, recurring billing and full or partial refunds.

What does it cost?

One core subscription, small charges for premium tools, and usage pricing for email, SMS and AI-intensive work. All billing stays with Guuds, so you never juggle dozens of vendor invoices.
